Wijard is for you if you have a web site and a business card. Each of these two things says something about you as a person: the web site in pixels, the business card on paper. Your wijard unfies these two aspects of your identity.
Your wijard is both a widget and a card. The widget is managed using the Clearspring platform. To Clearspring, a widget is just a chunk of HTML… delivered modularly and shared across the web. So the widget part of your wijard is a module that you can plug in to your web site, be it blog, Facebook, or whatever.
What if you have multiple web sites? One of the beauties of the Clearspring platform is that you can plug the same module into each site. For example, the wijard that identifies me (Andrew Watson) as the founder of Wijard is exhibited in the Wijard Gallery, is part of my Facebook profile, and so on.
The card is a MOO MiniCard. Plans for the future include a range of printed products. They also include Flash widgets and a slick order-taking application.
Back here in the present, the minicard is “a very good place to start” due to high print quality, distinctive and pleasing proportions, and double-sided printing. One side is for text. The other is for a full-color image. As you can see from the founding wijard linked to above, the image can include text for things you particularly want to emphasize.
Thank you for reading this far down the About Wijard page. Now it’s time for the next step is. But I’d like to offer the following:
- If you’re ready for your Wijard, step up to the counter and Order.
- If you have questions, visit the FAQ page, or to the Newly-Asked Questions (NAQ) post.
- If Wijard isn’t for you right now: go in peace, and please check back later. If there’s something specific you’ll be checking back for, please let me know.
Now, what about the people? They are described in a couple of subpages-in-progress: Who We Are, and, more important, Who You Are.
